Apple iPhone Application Downloads
If the Apple iPhone is the symbol of a generation then it is not of the 00’s teenager, ‎but of the MobiCom Revolution. Computers, with ever-shrinking sizes and ever ‎increasing computing power are harnessing mobile technology and becoming mobile ‎devices; mobile devices (once largely restricted to telephones and – remember these? ‎‎– pagers) are harnessing massive computing power and becoming computers.‎
Back to the iPhone. While it is undoubtedly a feat of marketing and design brilliance, ‎it is simply a sample of the mobile devices currently available. All much lighter than ‎any computer that has been on sale previously, and many much more powerful. Is it a ‎computer? Is it a phone? This is the question (and we can add ‘Is it a camera?’ to that ‎list) that is fueling the MobiCom Revolution.‎
