What Kind of resolution will you get on iPhone TV and for Mac games?
Sling is a fantastic piece of techno whiz that attaches to your TV source (cable, satellite, whatever) ‎and then transmits it (Slings it) across the Internet. As long as you have an internet connection, ‎then you are able to watch your TV on whatever compatible device (laptop, computer or even ‎telephone) you can get your hands on. You control what channel you are watching using the ‎controls on your chosen device (which is handy, otherwise you’d have to run home to change the ‎channel!).‎
Well by Jove, wouldn’t this be just grand if it worked with the old iPhone? I predict iPhone TV for ‎the adoring masses!‎
Actually, iPhone TV is in the works, and Apple are thought to be planning to make an ‎announcement shortly about an App that’s going to appear on their App Store. This app should ‎allow you to get iPhone TV on your most favorite of all gadgets; all you need is some kind of Wi-‎Fi connection.‎
This Apple iPhone TV has nothing to do with Sling, though. So why reinvent the wheel? The ‎simple answer is, of course, money. Apple are simply not interested in giving Sling a piece of their ‎rather valuable pie! All this has to change when things get changed to accommodate ‎the mac games.
