Digg type music download site review
Music download sites are springing up all over the internet, as store cd sales continue to slip. But that doesn’t mean the online landscape is settled. New models for online music downloading are springing up everyday. Omemo, Drop-IO, Topman, and Anymusicdownloads are a few recent launches that have made a splash in the news, but there are way too many to list here. And then you have all the P2P file sharing applications like Ares. In addition to the free music download sites, there are the fee based mega music portals that everyone knows like Rhapsody, and Itunes.
So how is a consumer to keep up with all the options and get some good feedback? How about a digg clone that is all about the music. I’m talking about a place where visitors have submitted reviews of 100’s of music download sites that others vote on, and add their own comments, so you can see what others think. If Ares is the most popular, it should have the most votes from users. They should also have music filesharing news which centers on file sharing and music downloading news, but also has some nice general and niche music news. And those news articles should also be voted on, so you can read the most popular articles on whatever your music interests are.
Well, of course I’m not going to tease you about something that doesn’t exist - that wouldn’t be nice. If you’re confused like me about all the options for music sharing, you might want to visit www.music.tagz.nu If you want my vote, the best place to download ares is here.
