Liberty League International a Pivotal Company
Liberty League International is one of those big names that is looked back at with equal parts of fondness and regret. Regret that the company had to go the way it did and fondness because it was one of the pioneers of the direct sales industry.
Liberty League International was pivotal in the growth of the direct sales industry and many of today’s top Internet marketers cut their teeth there and are now running successful home businesses. For this reason it can definitely be said that it provided an invaluable service to the direct sales industry as a whole.
The major failing of Liberty League International was in the product that it provided: a flimsy excuse for a personal development product on which the compensation structure was based. If you search the web for the companies name then you will see many aggrieved ‘customers’ (though note that its competitors were the authors of many of these complaints) venting to the world about their unsuccessful entrepreneurial adventures.
One of the lessons learned by subsequent companies was the need for a quality “stand alone†product. It is in this field that Lifepath Unlimited has been able to excel. Whereas Liberty League International was able to ‘make do’ with a substandard product Lifepath Unlimited has absolutely gone for the integration and development of products that have value in their own right.
