iPhone Games Rocks!!
The iPhone games is making its way inexorably towards world domination and Apple is rather expertly pulling it along.
Recent talks in the Asia Pacific region will see the iPhone games move into further new markets and it is almost on a weekly basis that We hear more news to this effect.
Perhaps most exciting to potential owners is the news that Apple may be dropping the exclusivity that many carriers have previously enjoyed. This will mean greater competition in new and already active marketplaces (by ‘greater’ I mean ’some’).
Apple has sold just over 5.4 million iPhone games units as at the end of March 2008, an impressive figure by any standards, but especially when you consider that i) the iPhone games has not yet been rolled out in many regions and ii) it is getting a cut of the substantial bills generated by the carriers’ monopolies. Apple’s pay day is just about here.
