Europeans fans of the iconic iPhone with free downloads will be absolutely salivating at the prospect of its imminent release this side of the Atlantic. The slow boat from Apple and Jobs is wending its way across to Germany, UK and France and the download an app for iPhone will soon be upon us.

This is good timing from Apple and, although Europeans probably will not agree, it’s absolutely the best time to be getting an iPhone music downloads: bugs have been ironed out, prices are likely to have plummeted, and new third party software has been given time to develop. Also on Apple’s plate recently has been the leak of a few pictures of a newly updated iPod Nano. This little beauty has been snapped and pictures added to the Internet (then promptly removed). While this isn’t on the same scale of the iPhone news it is obviously another reason for Apple fans to get very excited.
