Ares Galaxy the origional

Ares Galaxy was for a long time recognized as the best software in the Ares range. And rightly so: it was the original version from which the others were spawned.

As is so often the case, some of these ‘imitators’ went on to become stronger than the original and best known brand name: that of Ares Galaxy. Some of these imitators, versions like Ares Vista, Ares Ultra and Ares Ultimate really do surpass the original Ares Galaxy by some considerable margin.

Not only do these new versions have the benefit of a number of years worth of additional, advanced, technology under their belts, but they also have the resources to offer much improved customer support (Ares Galaxy doesn’t have any customer support, so in truth this is not too difficult). All in all they provide a better product and a better user experience.

Of course there are the bad apples of the lot, and in the case with Ares P2P filesharing these bad apples are Ares Gold and Ares Destiny, both of which strangely feel the need to bundle adware with Ares.

Ares Galaxy served its purpose well but now it is time to step aside in favor of the newer, more modern versions of Ares that are simply better.
