There are few websites that I’ll bookmark for later reading. There are even fewer for which I’ll take the time to write a mini review. But here we are: this is a mini-review and I’ve just finished reading around a site that I really found genuinely useful. The name? www.officialares.com.

So it might not seem like a big player in the website world, but it most definitely is a big player in the Ares download world. Official Ares provides information on all aspects Ares and P2P filesharing.

Here’s what particularly caught my eye:

It’s the best place on the net to get an Ares download. That’s it, no competition.

It’s got unbiased and very honest reviews on the major versions of the Ares download.By honest I mean they really don’t pull any punches.

The FAQ and P2P filesharing information is top drawer and even though I would consider myself something of a Ares download. expert, there were still some things that I learnt while clicking through the site.

This is my favorite site on the net, not by a long way, but it has struck a chord with me with its unabashed usefulness. If it’s useful to me – an Ares veteran – then it’s sure to be of use to those who are yet to make their first Ares download.
